Hello Leonora, Soy Anne Walsh is an “adaptation” of surrealist painter Leonora Carrington’s feminist novella The Hearing Trumpet by video and performance artist Anne Walsh. The brand new book–published by no place press and distributed by The MIT Press–features contributions by writer Dodie Bellamy, art historian Julia Bryan-Wilson, and poet/critic Claudia La Rocco. Join us for an evening of reading and song by Walsh and friends to welcome the book to San Francisco.
